LEED Points & Certification

SelectEnergy is a member of the Canadian Green Building Council, an affiliate of the US Green Building Council and the developer and administrator of the LEED® Canada Green Building Rating System. Our engineers are LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs) and have the knowledge and skills to successfully integrate building design and the LEED certification process.

The LEED® Green Building Rating System is recognized worldwide. It has become the symbol for green building best practices in the design and build industry and underlies many of the changing industry standards.

SelectEnergy geothermal and renewable energy systems are one of the most cost effective ways for a building to qualify for valuable LEED points. Depending on building design and materials used, a SelectEnergy Renewable Energy System can achieve between 5 and 10 LEED points.
